An Evening of Magic proved to be a great success thanks to the generous donations of sponsors and attendees. Entertainment was provided by Magician Kevin Wilson of Abracadabra Magic, caricaturists Terry and Penny Cline, and DJ Rob Sparks from U93 was MC and supplied the energetic music for the evening. Attendees enjoyed a traditional Polish dinner prepared by Linda Passwater and the M.R. Falcons staff. Silent and live auctions were held, with energetic auctioneer Doug Osthimer keeping the live auction engaging and humorous. Hot ticket live auction items included an autographed Jimmy Buffet guitar, VIP grandstand tickets to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, trips, and a custom crafted Corn Hole Game, lovingly decorated by our Littles. Jordan Automotive facilitated the smooth processing of both registration and checkout for our guests. Our Evening of Magic planning Committee; Chairperson Michelle Peters along with Committee Chairs Jennifer Farless, Melissa DeBroka, Laura Bennett, Sandy Moskwinski, Patty Thornberg, and Meg Basker did a spectacular job with planning and executing a captivating evening. We also appreciate the efforts of our Fund Development Director Beth Berry in coordinating this successful event, and are grateful to our program staff, Debra Walker, Laurie Morlan, and Erin Hershberger for all of their hard work in carrying out the mentoring programs that are made possible by events such as EOM. |
